I'll buy 3 - possibly 4. one for PvE warrior, PvE ele - though I probably wont play them much...a PvP slot, and maybe a presear or mule character.

How is it expensive? You pay $40-$50 for each chapter, go play WoW, then you will see expensive.
Back on topic, I am gonna buy probably 2-3 depending on if I wanna make a rit.

It is a matter of perception. I generally hate online-only games, because my internet connection is always a little behind. Monsters are not exactly where I see they are and it lags too. That way I hardily can't click moving monsters. I shouldn't have bought this game in the first playe, but the idea of the game is brilliant and there is no need to actually finish the game.
At least in WoW I instantly saw that the graphics are ugly, and it's even more expensive. That tipped me off, even before I bought it.
No more slots for me. The gameplay is horrible for me, though I like the environment. I like to walk around in a beautiful scenery and fighting monsters.
Eventually I will find an off-line game with the same graphics quality, and I'll say goodbye to Guild Wars.

Eh, one man's grind is another girl's fun. I love experiencing the various aspects of the game as the different primaries, getting the nice armor for each primary, unlocking the secondary professions and skills for each primary, all so I can play around with builds and synergies, and being able to learn to play each primary well before bringing them into PvP. And speaking of, I always have a character of each primary to bring into PvE, "rerolling" is a matter of a quick hop to Senji's Corner or Seeker's Passage and switching secondaries, then changing my attributes. Frankly, the only reason I want a PvP slot is so that if I need an elite that I haven't capped yet I can unlock it with Balth Faction and roll up a char to use it.

I thought elites for PvE can only be capped from bosses.

None. I've got two accounts, so I already have more slots than I know what to do with. I'd let one account drop and buy slots for the other, but I've got at least one "keeper" character on each account. In any event, I don't need to purchase single slots, but I think it's a great that everyone will be able to.

Before the mass exodus of friends playing GW, two. Now, none.
I'm hoping Chapter 3 brings a heavy dose of PvE back into the game so they return; then, maybe I'll purchase a couple.

I'll probably buy 3, so I have one for each primary profession, and then one PvP/mule

None - got 4 PvE characters, 1 mule character, 1 free slot although I don't PvP and anyway tbh having taken 2 of my Tyria PvE characters through Factions I've no desire to re-do all that repetative stuff a third or fourth time let alone start a new character as the aassassin and rithualist do not appeal at all as primary professions.

Lets see. I have 1 for PVE and since I hate both PVE games so very much I have the rest for PVP and one pack mule. So there you have it, I'm not getting one. The game is far tooooooooooo lame to play through with more than one character, and with one character I'm having trouble getting Kind Of A Big Deal anyway.

Probably only 1 slot. I have enough skillpoints on each of my current 5 PvE chars to get them any 2ndary and any skill they wanted and they all have sup vig blah. I also don't play monk so that leaves 7 classes, I hate assassins with a passion so that's 6. With 5 PvE chars and the PvP slot can roll anything, that's how I manage my slots. You guys have too much money and too little organisation! :P

Seeing as how I have twelve characters (2 PvP), I am not going to buy a lot. I'll say two for starters, one for each account. I say that now, of course, but I'll probably get even more if I run out of room (like I am right now).

I'll perhaps buy one more. I don't have any interest in playing an elementalist or ritualist through pve, but I do want a pvp slot as the other 6 classes are taking up all my slots.
